Wordless Wednesday: Aunt of the Year nomination

The funniest things happen when you live with your almost 2 year old nephew.  Whether it's the expressions, the way he walks like a bobble-head or the way he just always grins and say, "Hi Weetnee!" he melts my heart.

But occasionally he catches me (and his folks) off guard and he leaves us all staring at each other like, "did he really just do/say that?"

This was one of those occasions - picture me cooking and him playing with stuff in the fridge door (with the door open!  What kind of aunt do you think I am?!)


His dad walked in and said something along the lines of "What are you eating, buddy?"

Oh yeah, that just happened.

(at least it was cholesterol free...?)

Wordless Wednesday...

It's been a week since my B-I-L and I hauled the three remaining Daves to the processor.

Long (and embarrassing) story short, I got stepped on in the unloading process.  It was not a fun adventure and here's a picture of all the pretty colors my leg still is today a week later!

It's a pretty hot look if you ask me!

Until the next (hopefully more fun) adventure...

... four little letters could throw my life into such a whirlwind?!

But, after 14 months on the market, our house has sold and we're closing on Friday!  Until then, pray for us that nothing falls through and that I don't cut myself on the packing tape gun!
