I was there this morning (earlier than I would like to admit -- like at an hour when I thought only Jesus and dairy farmers were awake) and I had a strawberry milkshake for a mid-morning snack. (best value on the grounds, I believe)
And my view from the bench where I enjoyed said shake included watching people as they decide between some of these fried delicacies:
Krispy Kreme Doughnut Burger
Deep fried Pepsi, cookie dough, Oreos, peanut butter cups, Snickers, Milkways,
Deep fried butter (yeah, butter!), brownies,
And if you're watching your weight and don't want to eat something fried, there's the Pigs in the Mud (chocolate covered bacon!)

ReplyDeleteThe donut burger kind of grosses me out to be perfectly honest. I thought about getting a milkshake as my mid-morning snack and then I didn't. I wish I had. Your picture makes me wish I had one now. :-)
ReplyDeleteI found your blog via Jane going on Jane. There was supposed to be chocolate covered bacon at the Iowa State Fair but couldn't find it. Instead decided to support our hog farmers and had a pork chop on a stick. Delicious.
